Katie Crutchfield ha anunciado un nuevo EP de Waxahatchee titulado Great Thunder, que saldrá el 7 de septiembre a través de Merge. Crutchfield también ha compartido un nuevo video musical para el tema principal del proyecto «Chapel of Pines«. Dirigido por Christopher Good, los clips muestran a Crutchfield pasando tiempo en la naturaleza antes de que las cosas den un giro surrealista.
El último álbum de Waxahatchee, Out in the Storm, salió el año pasado.
