Twin Peaks anuncian disco y comparten primer sencillo

La banda de Chicago Twin Peaks ha anunciado un nuevo álbum llamado Lookout Low. El registro, que sigue a Down in Heaven de 2016, llegará el 13 de septiembre a través de Grand Jury. Cuenta con el primer sencillo «Dance Through It«, que viene con un video musical dirigido por Ariel Fisher y Léo Schrepel.

«Escribir y organizar ‘Dance Through It’ fue como una inmersión y un abrazo de experimentar con una nueva paleta para nosotros«, dijo el guitarrista de Twin Peaks Cadien Lake James en un comunicado. «Después de haber estado involucrado directamente en la creación y dirección de todos nuestros videos, fue apropiado permitirle a esta canción el aliento de la colaboración al hacer que Ariel Fisher tome el timón y corra con el«.

Today we share the first single “Dance Through It” and a video for it created by @arielfish and @leoschrepel. 🎥LINK IN BIO🎥 The creation of «Lookout Low” was the longest we’ve invested in a record. From demoing almost 30 songs and rehearsing what felt like could be «the record,” to deciding to work with @ethanjohnsmusic and record live, it was a much more drawn out endeavor than how we’d previously operated. At the end of the day that patience and focus feels rewarding. Although it’s our first record working with an experienced Producer, it feels like our least produced and sonically aestheticized record. It bridges the gap between our studio work and live show, a bridge that felt missing to us before and that we’re excited to have built. Thanks to @ethanjohnsmusic @ohmmemusic and @shygirljimmy for helping us get where we were trying to go⭐️
