El sello discográfico Captured Tracks ha anunciado una nueva compilación llamada Strum & Thrum: The American Jangle Underground 1983-1987. Una edición en vinilo naranja de la nueva colección de 28 pistas llega en “Day Drop” de Record Store Day el 24 de octubre; El vinilo negro estándar, así como las ediciones digitales y en CD, saldrán el 13 de noviembre.
Strum & Thrum es el volumen inaugural de la nueva serie de compilaciones Excavations de Captured Tracks. Narra las raíces del rock indie melódico de principios a mediados de la década de 1980. Escuche «Trusted Woods» de Reverbs de la compilación a continuación, y desplácese hacia abajo para ver un avance del lanzamiento.
