El guitarrista de Oso Oso, Tavish Maloney, murió el 24 de marzo a la edad de 24 años. La causa de su fallecimiento no se ha revelado actualmente.
Varios días después de la muerte de Maloney, el cantante principal de Oso Oso, Jade Lilitri, compartió un largo homenaje a su viejo amigo, en el que describió al guitarrista como «una estrella de rock en todos los sentidos de la palabra«. Lilitri agregó, «trató al escenario como a una iglesia y al público como a Dios«.
Lilitri dijo que Maloney estaba «saludable, feliz y listo para prosperar» cuando se vieron por última vez. Estaban filmando una película juntos y tenían planes de trabajar en un álbum este verano.

Tavish always called me Dordan and I’d call him Davish. It was really fucking dumb, which is right up my alley. He always had a big ass smile on and somehow had the energy to be friendly and supportive to everyone he came across. May he rock on forever in our hearts. ♥️
