Linkin Park ha anunciado Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition, una reedición ampliada de su segundo álbum. Antes de su llegada el 7 de abril, la banda lanzó la canción inédita “Lost”.
“Lost” es una canción completamente mezclada de la época que presenta la voz característica del difunto cantante Chester Bennington. Es una de las siete canciones inéditas incluidas en Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition.
“Encontrar esta pista fue como encontrar una foto favorita que habías olvidado que habías tomado, como si estuviera esperando el momento adecuado para revelarse”, declaró el co-vocalista de Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda, en un comunicado de prensa. “Durante años, los fanáticos nos han pedido que lancemos algo con la voz de Chester, y estoy encantado de que hayamos podido hacer que eso suceda de una manera tan especial. Creo que se quedarán boquiabiertos cuando escuchen y vean todas las increíbles canciones inéditas y los vídeos de METEORA|20”.
“Lost” está acompañado de un video musical animado generado por IA, que se puede ver a continuación.
Además de “Lost”, un Super Deluxe Box Set de edición limitada incluye las seis pistas inéditas adicionales antes mencionadas, así como “demos, caras B, espectáculos en vivo y material detrás de escena nunca antes visto” en cinco LP de vinilo, tres DVD y cuatro CD. También cuenta con un libro de 40 páginas, un póster, una litografía, una hoja de calcomanías, una plantilla y una tarjeta de descarga de alta resolución.
Los cinco LP se componen del álbum estándar de Meteroa (1 LP), Live in Texas (2 LP) y Live in Nottingham 2003 (2 LP). Los cuatro CD son Meteora, LPU Rarities 2.0, Live Rarities 2003-2004 y Lost Demos. Y los tres DVD incluyen The Making of Meteora/The Art of Meteora/Work In Progress (1 DVD), Veterans Stadium (2003) y Live in Seoul (2003) (1 DVD), y Live In Manila (2004) y Live in Denver – Proyecto Revolución 2004 (1 DVD).
